10 - 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
11 - Mini pepperoni slices or diced bell pepper (optional)

# Steps:
01 - Set oven temperature to 425°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease.
02 - In a shallow bowl, whisk together the egg and milk until combined.
03 - In another bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, dried Italian herbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
04 - Dip each zucchini round into the egg mixture, then press into the breadcrumb mixture to coat thoroughly.
05 - Place breaded zucchini slices in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
06 - Bake slices for 10 minutes, flip each, then bake an additional 3 to 5 minutes until golden and crisp.
07 - Remove from oven and top each slice with 1/2 teaspoon pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, and optional toppings.
08 - Return to oven and bake 3 to 4 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
09 - Let cool briefly, garnish with fresh basil or parsley, and serve immediately.
